Overview:
B'raema (or Brae to her friends) is a cheerful and friendly Miqo'te. People often make assumptions about her based on her appearance and stature. However she is not what she might appear to be at first blush. She is more than capable of handling herself, and if you are interested and play your cards right, she might just be able to handle you too.

Lives in Ul'dah, but originally from Limsa. Well trained to keep her Limsan accent and slang suppressed but may emerge in moments of stress.People often assume she is demure and soft, needing to be protected. However not only is she comfortable in a knife-fight, she prefers to take the lead. She finds the dissonance caused by people realizing this to be quite hilarious.She is actually a member of the Limsa Lominsan Rogue's Guild. She is deeply loyal to them and The Code.

Rogue's Guild:
B'raema is a member of the Limsa Lominsa Rogue's Guild. She doesn't speak of it as it is a secret. But she is deeply loyal to them for how they took her in as a child. Much of her other work has been covers for Rogue's guild affairs. She is always trying to keep an ear out for news that may be of importance to guild affairs. Part of why she is always so eager to help is to make friends and contacts she can rely on if the guild ever needs her to.Immortal Flames:
As part of her time stationed in Ul'dah she served in the Immortal Flames' Free Adventurer Corps. While this started as a way to establish contacts and get information for the rogue's guild, she enjoyed her time there and developed true friendships. While her loyalty to the Flames will never overshadow her loyalty to the guild, she will aid them if she can.

Character Backstory

B'raema was born in Limsa, she believes. She has no knowledge of her parents or lineage. Her earliest memories are of being a street urchin in Limsa. Members of the rogue's guild took pity on the orphan and would trade food or supplies for information. It became common for members of the guild to check with their "Alley Cat" if they were looking for information. As she grew older she worked more closely with them. It's difficult to pick a definitive moment she "joined" the guild, but as time went on she became a full member and equal participant.At some point, she needed a name besides the "Alley Cat" moniker she had been using with the guild. Her name, "B'raema Nidai" is her own fabrication. She knows neither her clan nor parents. She picked a name that felt appropriate but not noteworthy. One of the reasons she chose the B tribe is that she hadn't heard of any members ever being in Limsa. She wanted to avoid running in to someone she "should" recognize.She knows her way around a knife and is perfectly comfortable in a fight. Although violence is never her preferred solution, she is willing to use it if necessary. "A smile and a kind word can get you farther in than a knife ever could. But sometimes, a knife is the only thing that can get you back out again."Her skills are focused around information gathering, relationship building, and subterfuge. Her first work with the guild was gathering information by going unnoticed and eavesdropping on conversations or keeping an eye out as people walked past another orphan begging for coin. She was also always good at climbing and using her small stature to find her way in to places or spots to hide. As she grew older the focus shifted, developing the ability to carry on pleasant conversation and attempting to get information by getting people to talk to her instead. She retains her skills at stealth if they are needed, but now focuses more on being someone who is interesting conversation, if not quite memorable enough to stick in their mind.
